Consultation and Fees
We ask that inquiries from potential clients be made by sending an email to info@lynnfontana.com. Please include the name of your employer in this first email. We will follow up with questions to see if a consult might be helpful for you, and if so, the cost.
Ms. Fontana will then review your situation to see whether a consultation would be helpful for you. If so, we will set up an appointment.
We are handling consults now on telephone calls or Zoom, if that is your preference. Prior to meeting, we will want to see relevant documents, including recent performance evaluations, performance improvement plans, offer letters, employment contracts, termination notices, and proposed severance agreements.
If you do retain Ms. Fontana, she is the person who actually works on your claim and with whom you have contact via cell, text, and email. Your claim will not be handed off to a legal assistant or paralegal.
Fees
There is a $150 to $400 charge for consults, based on a sliding scale. Payment is expected at the time of your appointment.
Cases are assessed at the consult, and fees going forward are discussed at that time. Contingent fees, or partially contingent fees, are sometimes available.
